Miller Syncrowave 300 AC/DC TIG Welder Package, Wired Foot Control, Cooler, Cart
The Miller Syncrowave 300 Complete Package is an AC/DC TIG/stick welder package with a wired foot control, built around a power source rated 300 A at 30% duty cycle. It adds a Coolmate 3 cooler, running gear, 4 gallons of coolant and a 25 ft Weldcraft W-280 TIG torch kit, and Auto-Link connects to 208/240/480 V single- or three-phase power.
For aluminum welding, the AC squarewave output clears the oxide layer, and AC balance adjusts from 60 to 80% (Pro-Set default 68%) to set the amount of oxide removal. Pulsed TIG (GTAW) cuts heat input and distortion and can improve puddle agitation, arc stability and travel speed, and arcs start by Blue Lightning high frequency or Lift-Arc, with Auto-Postflow after the weld. Output covers 5-300 A, and the machine handles steel up to 1/2 in. and aluminum up to 3/8 in.
Auto-Link sets the power source to the applied primary voltage, and line voltage compensation holds welding parameters steady through supply swings of plus or minus 10 percent. Fan-on-demand cuts noise and energy use, and an arc timer/cycle counter logs welding time and arc starts for job costing. For stick (SMAW), DIG is lowered for smooth 7018 rod and raised for stiffer 6010, and Hot Start prevents sticking. The power source weighs 101 lbs, 176 lbs with cooler and cart, and comes with an 8 ft cord without a plug and two Dinse connectors.
