Miller Syncrowave 300 AC/DC TIG Welder, Wireless Foot Control, Cooler, Cart
The Miller Syncrowave 300 Complete Package is an AC/DC TIG/stick welder set with wireless foot control, built on a power source rated 300 A at 30% duty cycle. A Coolmate 3 cooler, running gear, 4 gallons of coolant and a 25 ft Weldcraft W-280 TIG torch kit are included, and Auto-Link accepts 208/240/480 V on single- or three-phase supply.
The AC squarewave current strips the oxide layer from aluminum, and AC balance runs from 60 to 80%, with Pro-Set defaulting to 68%, to tune oxide removal. Pulsed TIG (GTAW) reduces heat input and distortion while it can boost puddle agitation, arc stability and travel speed. Arc starts come from Blue Lightning high frequency or Lift-Arc, Auto-Postflow follows each weld, and the 5-300 A range covers steel to 1/2 in. and aluminum to 3/8 in.
Line voltage compensation keeps parameters unchanged through supply swings of plus or minus 10 percent, fan-on-demand lowers noise and energy use, and the arc timer/cycle counter records welding time and arc starts for estimating job costs. Stick (SMAW) uses DIG, set low for 7018 and high for 6010, plus Hot Start. The wireless foot control removes the pedal cable, and the power source weighs 101 lbs (176 lbs with cooler and cart) and comes with an 8 ft cord without a plug and two Dinse connectors.
