Miller Syncrowave 400 TIGRunner AC/DC TIG Welder, 208/240/480V, Cooler, Cart

The Miller Syncrowave 400 TIGRunner is an AC/DC TIG and stick welder package that adds a Coolmate 3S cooler and running gear to the 5-400 A power source. It is rated at a 30% duty cycle at 400 A, and Auto-Link adapts it to 208, 240 or 480 V, single- or three-phase.

The package includes the Syncrowave 400 power source, the Coolmate 3S cooler, running gear, an 8 ft power cord without a plug, two Dinse connectors and the owner's manual. Assembled with the cooler and cart, it weighs 211 lbs and measures 43.9 in. H x 20.5 in. W x 36.3 in. D; the power source alone is 131 lbs.

For aluminum welding, AC squarewave output removes surface oxide and AC balance adjusts from 60% to 80% (68% at Pro-Set). Pulsed TIG, a DIG control matched to 7018 or 6010 stick electrodes, adaptive Hot Start, Blue Lightning HF and Lift-Arc starts, Auto-Postflow, an Arc Timer/Cycle Counter and line voltage compensation for swings of plus or minus 10 percent are all built in. Capacity is 1/2 in. steel and 3/8 in. aluminum.
