Miller Trailblazer 330 Air Pak Welder Generator, 30 CFM Air Compressor, 907836
The Miller Trailblazer 330 Air Pak is a gasoline welder generator with a built-in 30 cfm rotary-screw air compressor and battery charge/crank assist, rated 314 A for stick/TIG and 330 A for MIG/flux-cored at a 100% duty cycle. Its 27 hp Kohler engine also supplies 10,500 W of continuous auxiliary power, and Excel Power is part of this configuration.
This all-in-one engine-driven welder handles multiprocess repair and construction work: stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), flux-cored (FCAW), pulsed TIG and air carbon arc gouging, with a 1/4 in. (6.4 mm) rated carbon diameter. Output is 314 A at 32.5 V for CC/DC stick/TIG and 330 A at 30.5 V for CV/DC MIG/FCAW, both at a 100% duty cycle, across a 20-330 A range with a 107 VDC maximum open circuit voltage. ArcReach sends adjustments over the existing weld cables, Dynamic DIG adapts short-clearing current for stick, and QuietPulse reshapes the DC pulse waveform to cut noise.
The industrial rotary-screw compressor is rated 30 cfm at 80-160 psi and a 100% duty cycle (at 104°F), makes air on demand with no wait for a separate tank and shuts down automatically at 160 psi; pressure is set at the front panel. Battery charging reaches 150 A DC for 12 V and 24 V batteries, with up to 300 A of crank assist. The 27 hp Kohler engine idles at 2400 RPM, Auto-Speed varies it from 2,400 to 3,600 rpm to match weld and battery charge demand, and the tank holds 11 gallons. Miller rates it over 180 lb lighter and 13% smaller than previous models.
