Miller Trailblazer 330 Welder Generator, Excel Power, Kohler Gas, Carburetor

The Miller Trailblazer 330 welder generator with Excel Power pairs a carbureted 23.5 hp Kohler gasoline engine with multiprocess output: 330 A for stick/TIG and 325 A for MIG/flux-cored at a 100% duty cycle. Excel Power, an option on the base model, is included here, along with 10,500 W of continuous single-phase auxiliary power.

Excel Power comes fitted on this version of the carbureted Trailblazer 330. ArcReach sends process adjustments over the existing weld cables, so amperage and voltage are set at the operator's position instead of back at the power source. Dynamic DIG adapts short-clearing current to the stick application on a time-based algorithm, QuietPulse lowers audible noise in DC pulse welding, and GFCI protection is fitted. Processes cover stick (SMAW), TIG DC, pulsed TIG, MIG (GMAW), flux-cored and air carbon arc gouging.

Rated output is 330 A at 30 V for CC/DC stick/TIG and 325 A at 30.25 V for CV/DC MIG/FCAW, over a 20-330 A range, and single-phase auxiliary power is 10,500 W continuous and 12,000 W peak, with weld and auxiliary circuits kept separate. The 23.5 hp Kohler engine idles at 2400 RPM, Auto-Speed varies it from 2,400 to 3,600 rpm to match weld output, and the tank holds 11 gallons. Weldable metals are aluminum, stainless steel and steel, with a standard lift eye and optional running gear/cart and trailer.
