Miller Venture 150 S Battery-Powered Stick/TIG Welder, 400Wh Battery, Charger

The Miller Venture 150 S is a battery-powered stick and DC TIG welder, supplied here with one 400Wh battery, a charger, 10 ft ground and electrode leads and a padded shoulder strap. With the battery fitted it weighs 26.5 lbs, and output covers 20-150 A in stick and 10-160 A in DC TIG for construction and mobile welding.

The 400Wh battery (301756) is rated 52.8 V (396 Wh), weighs 15.25 lbs and is designed for more than 1,000 charge cycles in typical use. Fast charging takes under 30 minutes and standard charging under 60 minutes, and swappable packs let a charged battery replace a depleted one. The kit also holds the charger (301755), a 10 ft ground cable with clamp, a 10 ft stick electrode holder, both with 50 mm Dinse connectors, and eight rubber bumpers/feet.

For stick (SMAW) work there is a dedicated 6010 mode, Hot Start and Stick-Stuck detection, which turns the output off when an electrode sticks so it can be removed safely. DC TIG (GTAW) reaches 160 A, and Lift-Arc starts help limit electrode contamination. Fan-on-demand cooling, thermal overload protection and a low-OCV stick option are built in, maximum open-circuit voltage is 80 VDC, and the welder with battery measures 13.2 in. H x 8.4 in. W x 19 in. L.
