Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder, RMD/Pulse System, Smart Feeder

The Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder RMD/Pulse System pairs the power source with an ArcReach Smart Feeder, drive rolls and a Bernard PipeWorx 300-15 MIG gun. It runs traditional MIG and flux-cored processes plus RMD and pulse programs, and operators can weld up to 200 feet from the power source without extra cables.

Behind the feeder, the XMT 400 offers Auto-Line hookup from 208-575 V on single- or three-phase power, and Cable Length Compensation offsets the voltage drop of long weld cables. Regulated Metal Deposition (RMD) and pulsed MIG (GMAW) are fully supported on field jobs for quicker, more efficient welding, and Auto Remote Sense switches to remote control when a remote is plugged into the remote control receptacle.

The power source covers 15-425 A and 10-38 V, weighs 75 lbs and measures 17.25 in. high, 12.75 in. wide and 20.25 in. deep in a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum case. Adaptive Hot Start, Lift-Arc, infinite arc control, fan-on-demand cooling, large dual digital meters and a process selector switch complete the feature set of the power source.
