Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder with Stick/TIG Remote, 15-425A

The Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder with Stick/TIG Remote packages the 75 lb power source with an ArcReach Stick/TIG remote for stick (SMAW) and TIG (GTAW) work. It delivers 15-425 A over a 10-38 V range, Auto-Line hooks up to 208-575 V on single- or three-phase power, and RMD and pulsed MIG are fully supported for field welding.

Cable Length Compensation offsets voltage drop from long weld cables at the power source, and Auto Remote Sense switches the unit to remote control as soon as a remote is plugged into the remote control receptacle. Adaptive Hot Start, infinite arc control and Lift-Arc starting are built in, along with fan-on-demand cooling, large dual digital meters and a process selector switch. The lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum case measures 17.25 in. high, 12.75 in. wide and 20.25 in. deep, and the advanced wire processes are available on field jobs for quicker, more efficient welding.
