Miller XMT 400 MIGRunner Multiprocess Welder with Intellx Elite Feeder, 15-425A

The Miller XMT 400 MIGRunner Multiprocess Welder with Intellx Elite Feeder combines an XMT 400 power source with Dinse connectors, an Intellx Elite single feeder with eight memory slots, a 15 ft 400 A Bernard MIG gun and a MIGRunner cart. ArcConnect cables take the place of ArcReach, aiming the system at fab shops and manufacturing.

Process options for this system include EZ-Set Versa-Pulse, a fast process with low heat and low spatter for material 1/4 in. and thinner that also handles gap filling, and High-Deposition MIG, which deposits more than standard spray transfer on thicker material where spray is preferred. RMD runs the lowest heat and suits gap handling and work with limited travel speed. EZ-Set MIG and EZ-Set Accu-Pulse set parameters from material thickness, with Accu-Pulse adding a more forgiving arc.

The Intellx Elite wire feeder adds trigger select and trigger hold, preflow and postflow, steel and stainless programs, remote voltage and wire feed speed control, wire jog and purge, a four-roll rotatable drive and room for spools up to 60 lb. The XMT 400 behind it delivers 15-425 A across 10-38 V from 208-575 V Auto-Line input on one or three phases and weighs 75 lbs. Cables are a 5 ft ArcConnect control cable, a 10 ft 4/0 work cable with clamp and a 6 ft 4/0 weld cable linking the feeder to the power source, plus a regulator with a 3 ft gas hose.
