Miller XMT 650 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder, 380/460V 3-Phase, Power Source Only

The Miller XMT 650 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder is a three-phase power source for 380/460 V input that replaces the earlier Dimension 650. ArcReach gives the operator control at the feeder or a remote hundreds of feet away without control cables, and the machine suits structural steel fabrication, general construction and shipbuilding. It has no polarity reversing.

Cable Length Compensation (CLC) keeps the delivered voltage equal to the set voltage regardless of weld cable length, Auto-Process Select matches the process to the polarity at the weld accessory, and the ArcReach 16 wire feeder switches between welding and gouging at the point of use. Adjust While Welding allows parameter changes with the arc on, and the power source returns to its previous settings when the ArcReach accessory is removed.

Arc control tunes inductance for MIG (GMAW) arc performance and works as dig control for stick (SMAW). The 14-pin receptacle connects directly to Miller wire feeders and handles remote voltage control, with Auto Remote Sense detecting a plugged-in remote. Fan-On-Demand, Wind Tunnel Technology and an IP23 rating suit harsh field conditions, and the unit weighs 187 lbs and measures 28.2 in. high, 16.7 in. wide and 31.6 in. deep.
