Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder, 400A, 60% Duty Cycle, Machine Only

The Miller XMT 400 ArcReach Multiprocess Welder is a power source rated 400 A at 60% duty cycle, with ArcReach, Auto-Line and dedicated processes for gouging, flux-cored and self-shielded welding. ArcReach puts voltage adjustment at the wire feeder or remote, so operators no longer walk weld cables back hundreds of feet to the machine.

Cable Length Compensation (CLC) adjusts voltage to the weld cable length automatically, so the voltage set is the voltage delivered even hundreds of feet away. Adjust While Welding (AWW) allows parameter changes at the feeder or remote with the arc on, and connecting an ArcReach accessory locks out the power source panel so other workers cannot change settings. Fewer trips back to the machine also lower the chance of slips, trips and falls on cluttered or multistory jobsites.

Auto-Line hooks up to single-phase or three-phase primary power, 208-600 V depending on the machine, with no manual linking, which helps with dirty or unreliable input power. Auto-Process Select sets the correct process from the polarity applied to the weld accessory. The power source also works with the ArcReach Heater accessory for induction preheat and bakeout up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315 C), and this configuration is the power source alone.
