Miller XMT 450 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder, Stick/MIG/TIG, 575V, 907482
The Miller XMT 450 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder handles stick, MIG and TIG with both constant-current and constant-voltage output, and this version runs on 575 V input. It suits fabrication shops, field repairs and maintenance work, and its compact, lightweight design moves easily between job sites. The standard 14-pin receptacle accepts spool guns, feeders and remote controls.
For stick (SMAW) work, Adaptive Hot Start eases electrode starts without creating an inclusion, and Lift-Arc TIG (GTAW) starts the arc without high frequency while limiting electrode and work contamination. Infinite arc control in the stick and wire (MIG/GMAW) modes fine-tunes the arc for out-of-position joints and hard-to-weld materials. Wind Tunnel Technology routes internal airflow so dirt, dust and debris stay away from the internal components.
The process selector switch trims the possible control setups without dropping any feature, a tough polycarbonate-blend cover guards the front controls, and the large dual digital meters read clearly and can be preset before welding. The welder works on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and this model is the 575 V version of the XMT 450 CC/CV.
