Miller XR-Aluma-Pro Aluminum Push-Pull Gun, Air-Cooled, 15 ft Cable, 301568

The Miller XR-Aluma-Pro is an air-cooled push-pull gun for aluminum and soft alloys, and this 301568 model has a 15 ft (4.6 m) cable. A newer, lighter build reduces operator fatigue and stands up to industrial environments, and it brings higher amperage capacity, a larger amperage range and more duty cycle to heavy industrial work. It directly replaces the Miller 300000.

Two wire tension settings, matched to 4000- or 5000-series aluminum, keep wire feeding and the arc consistent, and heavy-duty internal components are built for long life and feeding precision. The drive assembly is easy to reach and the head tube is removable without tools, so drive rolls and head tubes can be swapped, or routine maintenance done, with the gun still assembled. The feed cable liner can be replaced on its own instead of the complete feed cable.

Threaded, quick-change head tubes rotate 360 degrees and come in more than 30 styles with different bends and lengths. The XR-Aluma-Pro line is offered air- or water-cooled with 15, 25 or 35 ft (4.6, 7.6 or 10.6 m) cables; this is the air-cooled, 15 ft model. It pairs with Millermatic 350P power sources and with XR-Control or XR-AlumaFeed feeders in a push-pull setup, and trigger hold is available with XR-Controls or XR-AlumaFeed.
