Milwaukee 1-5/8 in. Electromagnetic Drill Kit, 13 A 2-Speed

Milwaukee's 4272-21 kit centers on a 1-5/8 in. electromagnetic drill with a 13 A motor and a two-speed gearbox, built for structural steel work such as hanging iron and retrofitting bridges. It runs annular cutters up to 1-5/8 in. or twist bits up to 1/2 in., at 475 or 730 RPM.

The 13 A motor is designed to keep its speed under heavy load in structural steel, and changing from annular cutters to twist bits needs no wrenches. The electromagnetic base is built for high holding force so the drill stays put at heavy feed rates, and a safety strap comes in the kit. Stroke is 5-3/4 in., drill point pressure is 750 lbs, and the tool is 14 in. long and weighs 30 lbs.
