Portable, high-duty-cycle MIG work without external cooling is the job for this air-cooled Cobra MX-HD, set up with a Fronius 9-Pin connection and a 35 ft lead. Rated for 200 A, it uses 3/8 in. MX-HD consumables and handles wire from .035 in. to 1/16 in. on one set of drive rolls.

MK Products redesigned its Cobra gun for the MX-HD with a rugged, light build; the wire feed adjustment sits protected in an ergonomic handle. The gun has a fixed gooseneck fitted with a high-temperature barrel insulator, plus a rear trigger for precise wire feeding and an integrated mechanical gas valve.
