MK Products Python LX Push-Pull MIG Gun, 400A Water-Cooled, Fronius 9-Pin, 35 ft

The MK Products Python LX is a water-cooled push-pull MIG gun designed first for aluminum welding, and it also runs steel, stainless steel and flux-cored wire. This version has a 35 ft lead and a Fronius 9-pin connection, and it is rated 400 A at a 100% duty cycle, with every rating based on argon shielding gas.

Control sits in a pistol-grip handle with a rear trigger, a built-in mechanical gas valve for metering shielding gas and a wire feed adjustment protected inside the handle, and the balanced design is meant to keep fatigue down over hours of continuous feeding. The EZ-Lock barrel rotates through 360° and works with Flex Barrel, so awkward joints are easier to reach. The gun draws on both the Python and Cobra MX designs, with CNC billet components and an Ultra-Flex power cable built for demanding production work.

Wire capacity runs from .030 in. to 1/16 in. (0.8-1.6 mm) for aluminum and from .030 in. to .045 in. (0.8-1.2 mm) for steel, stainless steel and flux-cored wire, at feed speeds of 0-800 IPM; a 1000 IPM option is offered as P/N 211-0080. Water cooling is what allows the higher duty cycle in demanding MIG (GMAW) applications. Other versions of the Python LX are offered for Miller 10-pin, Lincoln 12-pin, Lincoln 7-pin and MK Products 7-pin connections.
