The Optrel e3000X PAPR with Crystal 2.0 welding helmet is a powered air-purifying welding respirator whose CLT2.0 lens passes 31% of light in the bright state (protection level 2) and adapts automatically from shade 4 to 12. The belt-worn blower's HEPA class Th3 filter stops more than 99.8% of particulates, and the system holds NIOSH P100 (42 CFR 84) certification.

The Crystal 2.0 lens gives a near-clear view in the light state and a detailed, high-contrast view of the weld pool when dark, so the wearer sees clearly before, during and after the weld. Autopilot follows changing light conditions on its own, and twilight technology, sensitivity control, a grind mode, a sensor slide for setting the detection angle and heat-reflecting paint complete the helmet.

The e3000X blower splits filtered air between the mouth and nose and a cooling stream to the forehead at three flow levels from 200 to 240 nl/min. It checks airflow automatically at start-up, gives audible and visible alarms for a missing or clogged filter or low battery, weighs 3.5 lbs with filter, belt and battery, and runs about 12 hours of continuous use per charge. The kit adds a protection sleeve, a TH3P R SL filter, the battery charger and an instruction manual.
