Steelmax MBS-4 Metal Cutting Band Saw, 120V, 4.5 in. Pipe, Semi-Automatic

The Steelmax MBS-4 is a 120 V metal cutting band saw for steel pipe, square pipe, round bar and H- and I-beams, taking up to 4.5 in. pipe at 90°. An integrated vise locates and clamps the workpiece for right-angle or miter cuts, and the saw runs semi-automatically with adjustable feed rates.

Capacity at 90° is 4.5 in. steel pipe, 4 x 4 in. H-beam, 4 in. square pipe and 2.4 in. round bar; at 45° it is 2 in. for steel pipe, square pipe and round bar. The saw is described as essentially spark free, and it shuts itself off once the cut is complete.

Blade options are 14 or 18 TPI, with one cutting blade supplied. The motor runs on 120 V, the saw weighs 36.3 lbs, and its applications cover pipe, plate, channel, grating and H-beam.
