Its reversible top plates can be taken off and turned over 180 degrees, exposing a fresh working surface once the top side is worn or damaged.

The precision-machined steel plates of this fixture table top are self-locating, and the side plates have an extended pattern of 5 boreholes that adds precision and adjustability. A 5-1/2 in. side plate combines with the top plate to give the five-sided tabletop its 6 in. height, and the plate coating has a case depth of .0004-.0008 in.
