The Strong Hand Tools BuildPro MAX Slotted welding tabletop is the 8 x 4 ft size, measuring 94 x 46 in., with the nitrided (heat-treated) finish, which adds weld spatter, corrosion and wear resistance. Its 5/8 in. thick steel plate has a surface hardness of HV 550, with 5/8 in. holes running across the top in a 2 in. grid pattern.

This is the slotted version of the BuildPro MAX top. The nitriding process pairs a mechanical polish with a post salt bath oxidative treatment, and the finished surface has a 0.37 coefficient of friction and a nitriding case depth of 0.0004-0.0008 in. A standard-finish version of this size is also made, and fitting leveling pad feet turns the top into a low-height welding and fixture table.
